Prior to co-founding TMC Development, Michael Short built a career managing more than $250 million in development projects across the Southeast. He spent six years as Senior Project Manager with NAI Earle Furman and four years with RealtyLink Development and CBRE, where his portfolio included land development, multifamily, office, industrial, retail, and self-storage projects.

Michael also spent nine years with McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture after graduating from Clemson University, where he developed the technical expertise and builder’s eye that continue to guide his work today.

A Greenville native and Mauldin High School graduate, Michael is deeply rooted in the Upstate community. He lives in Greenville with his wife, Elizabeth, and their three children. At TMC, he is known for his organization, discipline, and ability to execute complex projects with precision — qualities that ensure every deal moves from vision to reality.
